Waiting Patiently

“’Waiting Patiently‘ is how I feel during our long wet, often grey winter. Spring always arrives but you have to wait patiently for it,” Elaine Turnbull.

During the long, often dreary winter, ‘Waiting Patiently’ serves as a reminder that spring will return, as will colour and light. Two figures look out to the right, whilst their doting canine friend follows their gaze. Yellow and orange accents bring a hopeful quality to the work, whilst the blue sky echoes the brighter days to come.
